Social return of the research

Since 2000 the Fundació La Marató de 3Cat has organised an annual symposium to present the results obtained from the research projects that have been funded.

This event is the counterpart for the generosity shown by the general public in donating money to La Marató, money that has now been converted into scientific advances that will affect the diagnosis and treatment of sick people. It is also an annual meeting point for the scientific community to show how much has been done to invest in human resources, in infrastructure and in new projects, as well as the scientific excellence and the competitiveness of health science research in Catalonia in a Spanish and international context.
